Hindustan Unilever’s LIME case
study competition has completed a decade of being the most prestigious
competition among India’s Top Business Schools. The competition is the biggest
one in the country where a team of brilliant students from the Top B-schools
compete against each other as to who can understand and explain marketing case
studies. The management students take part in the competition to gain
experience of working on live business challenges. LIME case study competition
also gives the businesses an opportunity to interact with India’s brightest
minds.
The students compete over three rounds including the Grand Finale
over a period of 3 months. The winning team gets ₹10,00,000, 1st
runner up gets ₹3,50,000, 2nd runner up gets ₹2,00,000 while the 3rd
runner up gets ₹1,50,000. Over the years, LIME case study competition has grown
into one of the most prestigious competitions.
HUL LIME Season 11 is
televised on CNBC-TV18. Premium B-Schools like IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bengaluru,
XLRI Jamshedpur, JBIMS Mumbai, NMIMS Mumbai, FMS Delhi, SIBM Pune, IMT
Ghaziabad etc have been a part of the competition since a very long time.
HUL LIME Season 11 conducted the Quarter Finals in August. A total
of 22 teams qualified the Quarter Finals out of which 1 team was a wild-card
entry. The management students grappled with real, live and compelling business
challenges from a variety of sectors like medical, IT, hospitality etc.
The Semi-Finale of LIME was conducted on 14th and 15th
of December. The following teams qualified the Semi-Finale:

Team The Innovationists (NMIMS Mumbai)
The Semi-Finale was focused on Precision Marketing and the
students learnt the distinct nuances of Digital Marketing.
The 4 finalists are all set to ace the finals in January. HUL LIME
Season 11 encourages young marketers to challenge the status quo and leverage
data strategically.
